Lévis, 16 octobre 2024 - The Coupe Femina - an all-women's sailing race on the St. Lawrence River - has been shining since September, 26 2024 after winning two prestigious awards that underscore its impact on the world of women's boating.
Michelle Cantin, president of Formation Nautique Québec, the umbrella organization for the Coupe Femina, received the Prix Nautique Féminin at the Nautisme Québec 2024 Gala held in Montreal on September 26. The award recognizes the professional excellence, leadership and contribution of women in the recreational boating industry.
It's also a distinction that represents much more than a simple reward for Michelle Cantin; it's the recognition of several years of commitment, passion and efforts to promote the place of women in a still predominantly male environment.

A series of races were held on the St. Lawrence River, which not only provided unforgettable moments for these passionate sailors, but also democratized and promoted women's sailing.
This latest award, also won in 2019, is a testament to the vitality of the passion for sailing and the mission of Coupe Femina to promote women in boating.
