We are delighted to announce the arrival of Coralie Vittecoq to complete the Équinoxe sailing team.
Born in Montreal, Coralie began sailing on her father's keelboat before joining the Optimist racing team of the Hudson Yacht Club at the age of 10, the home club of famous sailors Evert Bastet and Gerry Roufs, who inspired her.
Since then, she has represented Canada at numerous world and continental championships on the world's seas and lakes in Optimist and IlCA 6, a class in which she made an Olympic campaign as part of the Canadian sailing team. During her career, she was a multiple Canadian champion and achieved a world ranking in the top 25. She has also raced in the J70 class and taken a keen interest in foiling, sailing wing and, since December, the mixed nacra17 catamaran with a view to representing the country at the 2028 Olympics.
Having grown up combining 2 high-level sports, sailing and downhill skiing, Coralie is a fan of speed and challenges.
After completing a B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience at Université de Montréal and a certificate in Business at Smith, Coralie aspires to become a professional sailor and inspire the next generation of sailors to pursue their dreams and goals.
Welcome Coralie to this wonderful adventure!
