Ece’s love for sailing started in 2017 during a family trip on the Mediterranean Sea. After discovering how much she enjoyed being on the water, she took beginner and intermediate sailing courses in her hometown of Istanbul, Turkey. She earned her IYTA Crew Member certificate in 2018 and continued building her sailing experience over the following years. Since then, she’s always looking for opportunities to sail whenever she can. What she enjoys most about sailing is the mix of adventure, teamwork, and the feeling of freedom that comes with being out at sea.
