Victoria Bukta has seven years of sailing experience with over 4,000 nautical miles logged offshore. Her certifications include RYA Day Skipper, Sail Canada Basic Cruising, Coastal Personal Survival, a Canadian VHF license, and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC).
She participates in weekly keelboat club racing in Toronto on Tuesdays and Wednesdays aboard a J/109. Her offshore racing history includes two participations in the RORC Caribbean 600 (2024 and 2026), where she placed fourth in her class in 2026 with Sea to Sky Sailing. In 2023, she completed a transatlantic crossing from the Canary Islands to Antigua, which involved offshore helming and overnight watch rotations.
Her primary roles are jib and spinnaker trim, and she is currently training in foredeck and mast operations.
