You may withdraw this consent at any time.<\/p>\n\n<h3>3.4 Displaying the Website Correctly<\/h3>\n<p>We use Google Fonts to render text on our site in a visually consistent way. Loading these fonts requires your browser to contact Google's servers, which may transmit your IP address. <strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> your consent for functional cookies, obtained through our cookie consent banner.<\/p>\n\n<h3>3.5 Managing Cookie Consent<\/h3>\n<p>We use Moelleux (by Horizon-Cumulus, Joliette, Quebec) to record and manage your cookie preferences. A cookie named <code>moelleux_{site_key}<\/code> is stored in your browser for up to 13 months to remember your choices. Transfers Outside Quebec<\/h2>\n<p>Several of the services we use involve transferring your personal information to servers located in the <strong>United States<\/strong>. Specifically, the following services operate primarily in the United States:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Google Analytics 4<\/strong> \u2014 audience and traffic analysis<\/li>\n<li><strong>WooCommerce Analytics<\/strong> \u2014 e-commerce performance analysis<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meta Pixel (Facebook)<\/strong> \u2014 advertising and remarketing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Ads \/ Conversion<\/strong> \u2014 advertising conversion tracking<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Fonts<\/strong> \u2014 web font delivery<\/li>\n<li><strong>Microsoft 365<\/strong> \u2014 business email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, our business email is partially handled through <strong>Microsoft 365<\/strong>, which stores and processes data in the United States. Our Horizon-Cumulus Email service, however, is operated and hosted in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with <strong>section 17 of Quebec Law 25<\/strong>, before transferring personal information outside Quebec, we assess whether the destination jurisdiction offers an adequate level of protection. For transfers to the United States, we rely on contractual safeguards \u2014 including data processing agreements with each provider \u2014 to ensure your personal information receives protection comparable to what Quebec law requires.<\/p>\n<p>Where required by Quebec Law 25, we conduct or rely on a <strong>Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)<\/strong> to evaluate the risks associated with cross-border transfers and to implement appropriate mitigation measures before any transfer takes place.<\/p>\n<p>You may request information about the safeguards in place for any specific transfer by contacting our Person responsible for the protection of personal information (see Section 8).<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"section-6\">\n<h2>6. To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Person responsible for the protection of personal information (see Section 8). We will respond within <strong>30 days<\/strong> of receiving your request.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.1 Right of Access<\/h3>\n<p>You have the right to ask us whether we hold personal information about you, and to receive a copy of that information in a clear and understandable format.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.2 Right of Rectification<\/h3>\n<p>If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous, you have the right to ask us to correct it. If we have shared that information with third parties, we will notify them of the correction where feasible.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.3 Right of Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)<\/h3>\n<p>You may ask us to delete personal information that was collected without a valid legal basis, or that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We will honor such requests unless we are required by law to retain the information.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.4 Right to Data Portability<\/h3>\n<p>Where technically feasible, you have the right to receive personal information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, so that you can transfer it to another organization.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.5 Right to Withdraw Consent<\/h3>\n<p>Where we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing (for example, analytics and marketing cookies), you may withdraw that consent at any time \u2014 without penalty \u2014 by updating your preferences through our cookie consent banner or by contacting us directly. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.<\/p>\n\n<h3>7.6 Right to File a Complaint<\/h3>\n<p>If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with Quebec Law 25, you have the right to file a complaint with the <strong>Quebec Information Access Commission (CAI)<\/strong>.
